David Lyons was born on February 29, 1968 (yes, he’s a leapling) and hails from across the pond. He’s from the United Kingdom but currently lives in the U.S. His mother, Heather Loxton, resides in Dorset.
Lyons graduated from Harrow School in London, in 1986. He reportedly moved to the U.S. in 1994. Fun Fact: Lyons is supposedly 541st in line to the British throne. We have ourselves a royal here, folks!
Lyons Works in the Entertainment Industry
British-born Lyons has some diverse ventures in his portfolio, but it’s his work in the entertainment industry that has everyone’s attention. He’s settled in Los Angeles where he works as a producer.
Lyons has been an executive producer and partner with Hollywood production company MOO Studios since 1999. In 2013, he joined California-based Dapper TV as an executive producer, before leaving in 2018.
He was a managing partner at MOO Management from 2003 to 2009. He worked in both L.A. and New York and represented artists like Matt Jones, Tierney Gearon, Jock Sturges, Gavin Bond, Julian Broad, François Halard, Marc Hom, Olaf Heine, Barnaby Roper, and Sasha Eisenman.
He has produced short movies like Solipsist (2012), Rift (2009), Date Squad (2001), and The Sadness of Sex (1998). He’s also been a production manager for commercials.
Lyons Also Has a Photography Agency
Besides his experience in entertainment and advertising, Lyons has also worked in photography. He reportedly had a short stint as acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Testino’s assistant in the ‘80s.
In recent years, Lyons has founded photography agencies in L.A. and New York. This line of work has connected Lyons with several brands.

A very busy man, Lyons also has a real estate business in Los Angeles. Initially, he was thriving with real estate investments and redevelopment projects in California and in the U.K.
After redeveloping a number of properties in L.A., Lyons used his knowledge of the property market to help clients buying properties in L.A. Since 2016, he has been a realtor with Nourmand & Associates.

Lyons Is Divorced and a Dad
Selma Blair and Lyons have been seen together since 2017. Before that, Lyons was married to an artist, Jilana Stewart.
Lyons and Stewart welcomed a daughter, Araminta Joséphine Lyons, on March 5, 2015. Since their divorce, Lyons and Stewart have been co-parenting their daughter. Though Araminta appears to be living with her mother, she spends much time with her dad, too.
Blair also has a son, Arthur Saint Bleick, from her previous relationship with Jason Bleick. She was also married to Frank Zappa’s son, Ahmet Zappa, from 2004 to 2006.
