Who Is Cristina Greeven Cuomo?
Cristina Greeven Cuomo, 47 years old, was born to New York attorney Rainer Greeven and Regina Greeven. She has a sister, Andrea Greeven Douzet, who was the former publisher of Beach and Manhattan magazines.
She has been married to American news host Chris Cuomo for 17 years. They live in Southampton, New York, and have three children together.
Chris Cuomo and Cristina Greeven’s children are Bella, Carolina, and Mario Cuomo.
A Memorable Childhood
Cristina Cuomo is of Brazilian and German descent from her mother’s and father’s sides, respectively.
In an interview, she said that her grandfather was a German Minister of state. He was also the founder of the Orient Express, which began its journey in the early 1900s.
As a child, Cuomo would love to visit her other grandfather in Brazil. She has been blessed with a great lifestyle since she was little and put it to good use today.
Cuomo went to The Chaplain School in Manhattan. After she graduated from high school, she studied at Cornell University and graduated from there in the early ‘90s.

Cristina and Chris Cuomo were both 31 when they exchanged vows.
The Cuomos are a line of famous politicians and personalities starting from Mario Cuomo (Governor of New York) to his sons, Andrew Cuomo (Governor of New York) and Chris Cuomo.
They welcomed Cristina Greeven into their family in 2001 when she tied the knot with Chris Cuomo in a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony.
The wedding took place in Long Island on November 24, 2001. She walked down the aisle in a pristine white Oscar de la Renta gown with a tulle veil.
The beautiful ceremony was private with close friends and family in attendance.
The couple owns a home at 74 Corrigan Street, Southampton, New York, which they use as a holiday home.
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, sprawls across 1,991 square feet and comes complete with a neatly done yard and an outhouse. It was designed by architect Stephen Rossetti, and Emma Pilkington did the interiors.
And the price of that home? It is reportedly valued at $2.1 million! They also own a home in Manhattan.
Running a Magazine or Two
The Greeven sisters are both into publishing and editing magazines in the Big Apple. Andrea Greeven is the former publisher of Modern Luxury’s Manhattan and Beach magazines, and Cuomo has been the editor-in-chief of them.
Cuomo has also worked for Plum Hamptons and Gotham magazines, as well as Niche Media, an American magazine publisher.
She began her career as an assistant who filed papers, wrote restaurant reviews, and did some printer runs while she worked at Hamptons magazine when she freshly graduated from Cornell.
Cuomo said in an interview that she worked there for three years during summers and then became the editor. She was “hooked on journalism.”
Along with Jason Binn, Cuomo started Plum Hamptons, a local magazine. She worked for several years at Modern Luxury. But in November 2017, the company began its downsizing process, leading Cuomo to lose her job, along with most of her coworkers.
She now has her very own online magazine called The Purist. It features articles on architecture, food, beauty, culture, design, fitness, and home.
Many celebrities like Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts have graced the covers of the magazine. Julianne Moore has also worked with the magazine and blog, and her written piece on gun violence was published in March this year.
